Jennings already a trouble and embarrassing, good luck Hammond!

By Chris Jenkins, AP Sports Writer - According to a partial transcript of the clip posted on sportingnews.com, Jennings said he was confident that Sessions would not return to the team, boasted that he would beat out Luke Ridnour(notes) for the Bucks’ starting point guard job and made a profane comment about the New York Knicks for not drafting him.
The incident could raise questions about the maturity of Jennings, who decided to play professionally in Italy instead of going to college.

And Jennings apparently was wrong about Sessions’ future with the team as the Bucks already had sent offer to Sessions, giving Milwaukee to match any contract offers from other teams.

As I said before, we know little about this kid and his decision of going to Italy and inability of passing SAT, plus this embarrassing incident, once again telling us Jennings is a me-first, selfish, immature kid that won't fit our style and needs and we definitely shouldn't have picked him. While he's whinning the Knicks didn't pick him, I am wishing the Knicks did pick him so we could pick Jordan Hill! Damn it! Good luck Hammond and Bucks fans!

Less than a week in and I am appointing myself the head of the Jennings bandwagon. I listened to the whole thing and a couple of things struck me:

On Skiles: "That nigga is tough..." "He wanted me for a reason...." (very positive tone to that part - happy that someone of Skiles' reputation wanted to work with him, is how anyone would take that).

On Sessions: His buddy basically said "Sessions is going to be up your ass...." Jennings replied that "he aint even going to be here. That money's for Charlie". When asked about Ridnour, he said he'll be backing up. Not optimal discussion for public consumption (but he didn't know it was public discussion), and 80% of people here want Ridnour GONE, for good reason. He should feel like he can beat him out.

How about looking at the glass as half full and being happy that there is a highly skilled kid from Southern California who is actually happy to be living and playing in Milwaukee? That's a huge, huge, huge plus, in my book. I think about myself being born and raised in Wisconsin - and I don't want to live there! No offense meant, but most 19 yr-old kids don't have Milwaukee on their list of dream destinations - especially when they already have 7-figures of money in hand, and plenty more coming.

He's 19 and didn't know anyone but his buddy was going to hear that. Lesson learned and that's that. He's glad to be a Buck. He likes Milwaukee. He has skills and he is confident.

I like this guy; kinda reminds me of a modern day Gary Payton. Smack talkin, cocky dude, but this boy got some game. Buck fans gonna be singing another tune once the season starts. We may re-sign Sessions, but there is no way that Ridnour, Sessions, and Jennings remain. Jennings will become the starter and either we will match Sessions offer, or trade Ridnour. If Jennings burns up the summer league, it will be very difficult to keep him out of the starting lineup. A shake/bake/super-quick PG to feed Redd and Bogut.

If they turn him loose he'll announce his presence with authority in summer league. Agree with all of this - and as his body matures we can only hope he's like a young GP.

What kind of numbers do you expect him to put up in the Summer League? Sessions led the 2008 Summer League with 7.3 assists/game. Will Jennings beat that?

Don't mean to bait you -- just bring you down to earth gently on a guy who's still pretty raw. I hope he does well, but I don't see any evidence that he's going to be able to make good decisions right out of the box. I'd be happy seeing 10 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists a game from him in Vegas.

If he has TJ's court vision, I'll be a big fan. I hope he doesn't have his jumper, though.

Yeah I'd be happy to see that kind of number too. But I think whats also very important is the personality, Jennings seems to me like a very outspoken kid who is cocky of his talent, and I dont mind him being cocky as long as he's a real good PG, but based on what I see so far, he will try to score first, not pass first, and definitely not win first.
